Shipping Information
We will ship your order from our warehouse within 48 hours of receiving it. Standard shipments go by UPS Ground and usually take between 3 and 5 business days to arrive. Shipping costs are determined by your order total. Any orders outside Illinois will be charged sales tax; items sent within Illinois will be charged sales tax of 9.0%.
Shipping Cost Schedule
UPS Ground shipping and handling charges for orders up to $24.99 is $5.95; $25-49.99 is $8.95; $50-74.99 is $11.95; $75- 99.99 is $13.95; $100-149.99 is $15.95; $150-199.99 is $17.95; $200-299.99 is $20.95; $300-399.99 is $22.95; $400 or greater is $23.95.
Returns and Refunds
If you are not fully satisfied with your online purchase from The Modern Chef, you may return it for an exchange or refund as long as it is postmarked within 15 days of the original shipping date. Items must be in their original condition (unworn, unwashed, and tags still in tact). Shipping and handling charges are always non-refundable. Please note that any custom-ordered items (such as embroidered items) are final sale and cannot be returned. Please make all returns to The Modern Chef, 7736 N. Kedvale Ave., Skokie, IL 60076.
